Caption: I have such a vivid moment of me creating this image. It's a golden mantled ground squirrel that I used to see pretty often on the side of a trail in the Coconino National forest. One day, when the light was particularly nice around his den, I laid down and waited. When he finally came out, he stoud up on this log to check the surrounding of his territory to make sure everything was safe.
